I thought i reed something on OFC was going to have an live event in Las Vegas at the golden nugget was that for real or wat some with info help me i know i got an email or something about.

Yeah, the first Live OFC event will be at the Golden Nugget from June 27th to 29th, 2010 but they haven't finalized everything yet, I'll let you know when they do.

I'm supposed to be out there for my birthday that week anyway, plans aren't completely set up yet but more than likely I'll be there.

I really want to know all the info. on the event before I start worrying about it or promoting it or anything though. We'll see how big the buy-ins are and how many people are interested in going.

Maybe we'll even give out some free buy-ins depending on how much they are, it's supposed to be three days so we'll just wait and see about everything but I really hope people are interested.

wow i talked to my lady and she said were also going in june with her family for her father in laws birthday but his birthday is a week before i dont know how im going to be able to pull this off lol. well hit me up with the info when you get it all oh and was there any good luck with FTP? yet

Thats cool, my birthdays the 24th but we might just go after it for just the weekend, like I said I still don't know yet. I'll be sure to let you know when I have all the info. to.

As for FTP, they said they can't do anything for us and that we have to cover all the costs ourselves. I'm looking into some other rooms though, so we'll see what happens.

I'm not sure about Power Poker but I really doubt UB will do anything. I'm just looking into the rooms that we send alot of players to first because there more likely to help us out.

wow this is the first time ive heard of rumblings of this and i belong to many forums.. i like the idea depending on the buy in ....for me i live in northern california so id rather see it happen in reno. yep count ub out --hit up tilt and p-stars after aall they are the biggest and the best in the buisness. 5:00-7:00 PM - Invade Vegas check in and pick up gift bags - This will be held at the Golden Nugget Casino extended poker room area. Cash bar available.
5:00-7:00 PM - Meet and greet. Players will also be able to register for the tournaments for Monday and Tuesday. Cash bar available.
8:00 PM-? - Gold Diggers Nightclub opens up 1 hour early for our group with a cash bar.

Monday, June 28th, 2010

12:00 PM - The Lou Krieger Shrimp Adventure. Everyone will meet at the Golden Nugget extended tournament area and then head down the road to Golden Gate Casino and enjoy some shrimp cocktail. (there are other options if you don't like shrimp)
2:30-4:00 PM - Invade Vegas check in and pick up gift bags (for those who didn't check in on Sunday) - This will be held at the Golden Nugget Casino extended poker room area.
4:00 PM - Warm Up tournament. Buy in will be $50+15. A $1000 WSOP entry to Event 54 will be ADDED to 1st place* by Felt Stars.

7:00 PM - Pub Crawl - Join us as we bar hop in downtown Las Vegas! We will be stopping at 4 different bars.

•Stop 4 - Hogs & Heifers Saloon

The buy-ins seem reasonable but there are only 200 seats available and you have to pay a $20 registration fee on the OFC website. We have to contact the OFC to let them know whether or not we'd like to promote this event before anyone can register and represent us too, so I'm going to start a new thread here with this info. asking everyone to post whether or not they can make it and if there are enough players I'll contact them next week about it and I'll go myself.

Oh yeah, as for the sponsorships from poker rooms we got a short term deal set up with Big Bet "another Merge room" to give us a couple freerolls for April and if we get enough players they'll make it a long term thing with larger bonuses and some other promotions. I've also been talking with some other rooms so we'll see how it goes.

And i will also try to make it to LV but i dont like that extra $20 reg fee it look like we are already paying for the reg fee's on the tourney but i would make it most likely that is my and my lady fav city so i always be there.

It's cool, you'll still be able to play in the Big Bet freerolls. I still hope we can get enough new sign ups to get a long term deal with them anyway.

As for the $20 OFC reg fee, you get it back when you get there. I think they just want to make sure that everyone who pre-registers is actually going to show up since theres only 200 seats available. It's still 3 months away so just give it some time and see if theres still seats open. I know your right there in Mo Val so its not to far of a trip but alot of other people don't stay anywhere near here so I still want to get somewhat of a head count before we start actually promoting it you know.

If we get enough people I'll show up for sure and I hope you'll be able to make it.

i should make it tho even know its two times for the one month because i going in the middle of the month with my ladys family for an birthday and going this month but i talked to her about we should be cool and ty for all the info admin wat city do u stay in now
